Birthday Card | World Card Making Day

 Hi everyone,
Today we are celebrating World Card Making Day and for our card today we've made a card for my daughter who is turning 25 this month!

For the background, we just blended a little Tattered Rose, Broken China, and Mowed Lawn Distress Ink. Then we put a bit of the same on a piece of plastic, splattered water on the plastic and put our background paper on it and moved it around to pick up the ink.

We wanted to try Interference Blue Perfect Pearls so we added a small amount in a little spray bottle and sprayed the background paper 5 to 6 times. The end result was fantastic, our background paper had a shiny, pearl like look. Loved it!

For the focal point, we stamped an image on watercolour paper and we painted it with Distress Ink and water. Liner paintbrush from Decomagia HobbyShow.

A circle was cut a bit bigger than our stamped image, we glued glitter on it and  we glued it to our base card under the stamped image.

The stamped dragonflies were stamped with versamark and the we dusted a bit of Blue Perfect Pearls on it and it left a soft stamped image!

A chipboard swirl from scrapniec, roses, which we distressed with Broken China Ink and Pink Gumball Perfect Pearls, blue string and lastly to tie it all together and finish, we fussy cut a swirl which we had stamped with Mowed Lawn Distress Ink.

We stamped the word Love on a piece of watercolour paper and glued it on our card!
