Soft Roses Watercolor Valentine's Day Card | Video

 Hi everyone,
We're sharing a romantic card using pale colors with gold-embossed accents along with vellum for Valentine's Day, using Distress Inks, Perfect Pearls Powder and acrylic paint as watercolors. The design has 3 roses painted with 3 colors. the background is painted with 3 colors. We're using 3 paper products, watercolor paper, vellum and card base and to finish our card we added 3 sequins at the top.

We cut watercolor paper 4"x 5,25", slightly smaller than our base card and wet the paper with our paintbrush, we also mixed Broken China Distress InkPink Gumball Perfect Pearls Powder and purple acrylic paint with water. We wet our paper so our paints would flow easily on the watercolor paper. Then just start placing your colors wherever you like. Then we splattered some Broken China Distress Ink. Then we let it dry.

For our hand painted watercolor roses, we used Perfect Pearls- Pink GumballMowed Lawn Distress Ink and purple acrylic paint.

After handpainting our design we used Versamarker Watermark pen
on the leaves and roses, where we wanted the design to be embossed. Then we heat-embossed it using Wow! Pearl Gold Sparkle Embossing Glitter.

Then we cut around our design and also cut a piece of vellum and stamped a sentiment using Versamark Watermark Stamp Pad and heat embossed it with the same Wow! Pearl Gold Sparkle Embossing Glitter.

We foam mounted our image onto the watercolor background, glued the background onto an A2 card base, added sequins and that finished our card!
