Personalised Baby Boy Photo Frame |Christening Gift

Hi everyone,  We have a personalised Christening Gift to share with you today. We had a lot of creative fun with this project, choosing what colours and embellishments we were going to decorate our Mdf frame.

To begin with, we painted our 24x18cm Mdf frame with Dina Wakly White  Gesso  (Blitsy)   to prime our surface. Then we painted the frame blue using Creamy Acrylic Semi-Gloss paint in Dark Blue and White Creamy Acrylic Semi-Gloss paint.

We cut a piece of Daisy Mae Design paper from the  Sunshine Flowers 6x6 pad and glued it on the photo panel with Stamperia Mixed Media Glue. We used the same glue to glue down the chipboard on the front and we glued ribbon on the back of the frame.

We stencilled stars with white paint and sprinkled them with Cosmic shimmer Embossing Powder in True White and heat embossed them. The large chipboard star was heat-embossed twice. The blue stencilled stars we covered with Nuvo Aqua Shimmer Glitter Gloss pen for some shine.

We then painted the name with acrylics, then traced it with our Versamark pen and then heat embossed it with Glacier White Embossing Powder, to make it glossy.

Ever since we discovered chipboard a few years ago, we love using it on our projects. The chipboard on this frame is from Scrapiniec.
