Creations in Pink Challenge #5 |Snug but Stylish Christmas Card

Hi everyone, We're back again with a Creations in Pink Challenge. This is Challenge #5 Anything Goes in Mainly Pink and we hope you will join us for our monthly challenge. Every 15th of the month a fab new challenge will be set with a prize for the winner!

   Our digital stamp from The Paper Shelter is called Snug but Stylish. We really loved creating this Christmas card. We started by printing the digi stamp on Craft Perfect White Card and then colouring her with watercolour pencils. The background was created with Colour Cloud Blending Ink and then the sentiment and stars were heat embossed with Nuvo Classic Silver Embossing Powder. The Winter Wishes sentiment was stamped with Archival Ink in Jet Black.

   Our background panel was created by stamping the Christmas trees with watercolour pencil and then on top of that, stamping lightly with Jet Black Archival Ink. We wanted a soft outline of the trees. Then we blended Colour Cloud Ink and then stamped and heat embossed our falling stars in Nuvo Classic Silver Embossing Powder. The large tree had lights on them and we decided to use Nuvo Embossing Powder in Ballerina Pink to highlight them.

   Our Tim Holtz Stamping Platform was used to align all the stamps and sentiments. It's turned out to be an essential tool. We also used Cosmic Shimmer Gesso Primer for the snow.

                    The Paper Shelter Challenge- Birthdays/ Celebrations
