Sizzix| Robot 50s Canvas and Tags| Children's Room Decor

Hi everyone, we're sharing a Canvas today that we made for a gift. We think these colours and the cute robot design would brighten any childs's room. We used the new dies from Sizzix and the Tim Holtz 3D Embossing Folder Foundry. The tag die is from Card Making Magic

     We started off by painting our canvas with Turquoise acrylic paint, once dry we used our Foundry Embossing folder and embossed watercolour paper. We then painted it with silver acrylic paint and glued it onto our canvas with Mixed Media glue. Then added a bit of depth by blending distress ink on to the silver.

   We also dry brushed a little Gesso on top of the turquoise paint. Then we die cut all the pieces out in different coloured cardstock and mirror card.

  We wanted to decorate our gift bag, so we made matching tags. They would make great tags for favor boxes, you could write the name of the child on the robot.

   Our favourite tag was the one that used the embossed painted watercolour paper. We just pased it through our diecut machine with the tag die and it looked fantastic!
