Layered Distress Ink Resist
Layered Distress Ink Resist| Sending Hugs Card
Hi everyone. we're sharing a Layered Distress Ink Resist card, a really fun technique. It's the first time we tried this technique and we we're really impressed with the results.
To begin with, you stamp and heat emboss your panel with Clear Embossing Powder and then ink your whole panel with the lightest colour ink ( Versacraft Ink Aqua) Then with a paper towel you buff off the excess so your stamps show through. Let dry.
Then stamp and heat emboss again, then ink with darker colour ( Broken China Distress Ink) and buff off the excess. Let dry.
You do this one more time and ink with the darkest layer ( Versacraft Ultramarine Ink) and buff off excess again. Let dry. For the last layer, I stamped and Heat embossed my stamps with Nuvo Shimmering Pearl Embossing Powder, it gives a nice shiny, metallic finish to your stamps for the final layer.
Sending Hugs Sentiment is from Tonic Craft Kit 22 was die cut 3 times and glued together and placed onto vellum. To finish off, we die cut a little heart, inked it with Aqua Ink and then gave it some shine with Glossy Accents.
Thanks for stopping by!
