Pastel Birthday Card
I created this card today for the Editor's Challenge on CraftWorld - where the topic is Pastels. I wanted to create a simple but colourful card, so I decided to create colourful ink blending on my diecut. I used Lavender Lace and Pretty in Pink Cosmic Shimmer Colour Cloud blending Ink, Broken China Distress Ink and Nuvo Hybrid Ink in Rubber Duck.
Then I backed my diecut on a piece of 5"x5" card which I had blended with pink ink. I then die cut acetate and placed it in the middle of my main inked diecut.
When it was done, I created the 'HAPPY' sentiment with die cutting and then stamped and heat embossed the 'birthday' sentiment onto the acetate. Then, I glued my panel to a 5,5"x5,5" card base.
To finish my card, I added Nuvo Drops in matching pastel colours.
